Franklin820 Bar
Franklin820 is more than just your typical neighborhood corner bar. We're moving back to simpler times serving homemade food, classic cocktails, tasty wines, and a wide selection of craft beers.
Keep it Fresh:
Comfort food makes us happy. Our food is prepared daily in-house. If you try our Chicken Wings, Fresh-made Hamburgers, or Hand-Cut Fries, we guarantee you'll be back for seconds.
Keep it Simple:
Expect to find classic cocktails, craft beers on tap and wines from small family-owned wineries.
Keep it Real:
Our comfortable and casual atmosphere is perfect for an after-work cocktail or low-key date night. The community table is ideal for sharing a drink and making new friends. A 25-foot long bar hosts two TV monitors and a projector screen which can be seen from all seats. Enjoy al fresco dining when we open up our French doors at the front of the bar for some fresh air.
The dIscovery:
The space was a complete wreck when we found it. Dusty, dirty, abandoned deli for 30 plus years prior; it was love at first sight. During renovation we uncovered a ten foot section of wall from the original Grocery store as well as the vintage Life grocery store sign from the late 60's. The sign now hangs inside above the bar’s loft where it was discovered and the rest of the interior was built and colorized around these two objects. It took ten months to transform a forsaken storefront into our new home.

OUR INSPIRATION:
As kids, we desired to be restaurateurs along side our best friend Mike. Tragically, at the young age of 23, his life was taken too soon when Mike succumbed to cancer. At his side in Mike's last days, we made a promise to fulfill the dream in his honor.
30 years forward, Franklin820 was born. With loving memory to our buddy, we give a portion of our sales to the American Cancer Society.
